1.3 Contacts Data
If you choose Contact Discovery or Invite Friends and grant Contacts permission, ChatRaha may upload the minimum necessary contact data to our servers.
We use contacts data only to help you find and invite people you know, perform contact matching, and provide related app features.
Where applicable, we use hashed contact identifiers for contact matching.
We do not use contacts data for ads, marketing, AI training, selling contact information, or building a contact database.
This feature is optional. You can skip it, withdraw Contacts permission in device settings, or request deletion of your contacts data.
1.4 AI Feature Data
ChatRaha provides three AI-powered features:
- AI Q&A, powered by Google Gemini 3 Flash
- Sticker generation and image enhancement, powered by Google Nano Banana 2 (Gemini 3.1 Flash Image Preview)
- Video Ringtone generation, powered by Kling AI
When you use AI-powered features, ChatRaha processes only the data that you actively submit for those features.
For AI Q&A, this may include text inputs such as questions, prompts, and related chat content directed to the AI feature.
For sticker generation and image enhancement, this may include one image submitted by the user for generation or enhancement.
For Video Ringtone generation, this may include one image submitted by the user for generation.
The AI features are not intended to process personal data such as phone numbers, email addresses, address book contacts, or precise location. If you voluntarily include personal information in submitted content, it may be processed only as needed to fulfill your specific request.
Contacts data is not processed by the AI services.
AI-processed data is not used to train third-party foundation models.
1.5 Face Data and Image/Video Processing
ChatRaha may process photos, images, or videos voluntarily uploaded by users when they use AI-powered features such as sticker generation, image quality enhancement, or Video Ringtone generation. These user-submitted photos, images, or videos may contain a user's face.
ChatRaha does not use face data to identify users, verify identity, create biometric profiles, or generate face templates.
We do not use face data for advertising, marketing, AI training, or user profiling.
Face-containing photos, images, or videos are processed only to provide the specific AI-powered feature requested by the user, such as generating a sticker, enhancing an image, or creating a Video Ringtone.
Where necessary to provide these features, the submitted content may be processed by our third-party AI service providers. These providers process the submitted content only for the purpose of fulfilling the user's request.
We retain face-containing photos, images, or videos only for as long as necessary to provide the requested feature and maintain service reliability, unless a longer retention period is required by law or requested by the user.

If using our website, we may use cookies to improve user experience and analytics.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected data to:
- Provide and operate the core ChatRaha messaging, calling, and social features
- Help users find and invite people they know, when they choose to use contact discovery or invite features
- Perform contact matching and related app functionality
- Provide AI-powered features, including AI Q&A, sticker generation, image enhancement, and Video Ringtone generation
- Generate AI-based content requested by the user
- Personalize your experience
- Improve performance, stability, and security
- Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or violations
- Provide customer support
- Comply with legal requirements
We do not sell your personal data.
We do not use contacts data for ads, marketing, AI training, selling contact information, or building a contact database.
We do not use face data for identity verification, facial recognition, biometric profiling, advertising, marketing, AI training, or user profiling.

ChatRaha uses third-party AI services to provide the following AI-powered features:

Only user-submitted content needed to provide the requested AI feature is sent to the relevant third-party AI service.

For sticker generation and image enhancement, the relevant AI service may process one image submitted by the user for generation or enhancement.
For Video Ringtone generation, the relevant AI service may process one image submitted by the user for generation.
ChatRaha is not designed to send personal information such as phone numbers, email addresses, address book contacts, or precise location to third-party AI services.
If you voluntarily include personal information in a prompt, uploaded image, uploaded video, or other submitted content, that information may be processed by the relevant third-party AI service only as necessary to fulfill your specific request.
Contacts data is not sent to third-party AI services.
AI-processed data is not used to train third-party foundation models.
3.4 Face Data Sharing
Where necessary to provide AI-powered image or video features, user-submitted photos, images, or videos that may contain faces may be processed by third-party AI service providers.
Such processing is limited to providing the specific feature requested by the user, such as sticker generation, image enhancement, or Video Ringtone generation.
We do not share face data for advertising, marketing, AI training, selling personal information, identity verification, facial recognition, biometric profiling, or user profiling.
3.5 Legal Compliance
We may disclose information if:
- Required by law, regulation, or legal process
- Necessary to protect user safety or prevent fraud
- Needed to protect the rights of ChatRaha
3.6 User-Directed Sharing
When you choose to:
- Send messages
- Upload content
- Interact with others in ChatRaha
- Invite contacts or connect with people you know
- Use AI-powered features
Your data is shared only as needed for the communication, invitation, interaction, or requested feature to occur.

We apply industry-standard safeguards to help protect your information and support compliance with applicable privacy laws.
5. Data Retention
We retain your information only as long as necessary:
- Account information: retained until you delete your account
- Messages: stored according to your settings and device sync features
- Contacts data: retained only as necessary to provide contact discovery, invite, matching, and related app functionality, unless deletion is requested or a longer retention period is required by law
- AI-submitted content: retained only as necessary to provide the requested AI feature and maintain service reliability, unless a longer retention period is required by law or requested by the user
- Face-containing photos, images, or videos: retained only as long as necessary to provide the requested feature and maintain service reliability, unless deletion is requested or a longer retention period is required by law
- AI-generated media: retained only as required for the feature's operation, unless you save it
- Support records: retained as needed to respond to your request and maintain service records
You may request deletion of your data at any time.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your region, you may have rights to:

- Correct inaccurate information
- Request data deletion
- Withdraw consent
- Restrict or object to processing
- Export your data, also known as data portability
You may withdraw Contacts permission at any time through your device settings.
You may request deletion of contacts data, AI-submitted content, AI-generated media, and face-containing photos, images, or videos in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

7. Children's Privacy
ChatRaha is intended for users 4 years and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 4. If we learn that a child under 4 has used the Service, we will delete the related data.

- Secure storage
- Access controls
- Abuse detection systems
However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection.
